I decided to create a blog so that I can easily update people who are wondering who I am or, for those that know me, letting you know what's new in my life.
First I'm still a freelance photographer. I photograph digital images of a variety of subjects and then submit them to a couple photo libraries and they market them for me all around the world. Then I get a royalty every month. It's been working very well since 1998 when I went freelance full-time. I haven't worked at a j.o.b. (just over broke) since 1998!
My photos have appeared in a wide variety of publications and some of my stock clients have included: United Airlines, America Online, ABC News with Peter Jennings, National Geographic Interactive Division, Boston Globe, CBS Sunday Morning, Forbes, Universal Pictures, Wall Street Journal, NBC Entertainment, Merrill Lynch, Microsoft, National Wildlife, Discovery Communications, The World Wildlife Fund and many others.
These are the two photo libraries (or stock agencies as they are known in the industry) that I work with:
Corbis - search for "Chase Swift." Corbis is owned by Bill Gates, so needless to say I'm pretty lucky to 'partner' with him.
iStockphoto - that link will take you to my portfolio and if you log in as a free member of iStockphoto, you can see which images of mine are the most popular. This is a very popular internet site as anyone can buy images very inexpensively (like for $1 or less).
I'm also an internet marketer (expanding beyond just marketing digital images as I explained above). My main focus is showing online entrepreneurs how to generate an endless supply of leads from the internet with a brilliant system that at the same time gets people to pay me even if they say 'no' to my primary business. Yep, they do... it is very cool! Click here to get more information.
To market I use a lot of free sites, like YouTube.com and Blogger.com, I post articles and press releases that drive a lot of traffic to me. Even Facebook is a great tool I use to find and build these online relationships and business partnerships.
It is really a lot of fun, and the key interest for me is that I build these very close relationships with online entrepreneurs all over the world (because I help them with their business first!). We partner together and leverage our efforts to become more successful together. It's the best win-win situation I have ever experienced!
I live in northern Colorado on a small farm and have been happily married to my wife, Trisha, since November of 2000.

Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!
